Rajan Sinha’s charitable endeavors

Sinha’s charitable work includes the “Feed For Life” program, which has been running since May 5, 2013, through his Rising Charitable Trust. This initiative provides lunch to more than 300 needy individuals every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

In addition, Sinha runs “Amma Ki Rasoi” daily at City Centre at 8:30 PM, ensuring that underprivileged women receive a meal, often with sweets.

His trust also organizes an annual blood donation camp on December 3, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.

An auditor by profession, Rajan Sinha was a well-known cricketer in Dhanbad during the 1980s and 1990s. He credits his success in charitable work to the members of his charitable trust.

“Credit of this award also goes to members of Charitable Trust. We do not take donations from outsiders and contribute ourselves,” said Sinha, highlighting the selfless approach of his team in their community service efforts.
