Jamshedpur, Dec 3: The wait is over. Starbucks is coming to Jamshedpur.
The premium coffee brand that offers a Western-style coffee experience will open its outlet at Kadma on December 4.
The outlet is coming up at the ground floor of Narayankripa (Plot No.1), Inner Circle, Kadma.
The chain has become popular among young professionals and students who are looking to experience a taste of the West, even if it comes at a premium price.
In 2011, Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Coffee Limited, a prominent supplier of premium arabica coffee beans in India, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a strategic alliance.
The collaboration aimed to capitalise on India’s growing coffee market, leveraging Tata’s local expertise and Starbucks’ global coffee retailing prowess.

This partnership transcended mere business, aligning Tata’s commitment to quality with Starbucks’ dedication to delivering an exceptional coffee experience.
Tata and Starbucks jointly explored the establishment of Starbucks retail stores in affiliated outlets and hotels.
The agreement underscored both companies’ shared commitment to responsible business values.
In line with the MoU, they collaborated on promoting responsible agronomy practices, offering training for local farmers, technicians, and agronomists to enhance their coffee-growing and milling skills.
Additionally, building on Tata’s commitment to community development, the two companies explored social projects to positively impact communities in Tata’s coffee-growing region.
As Starbucks prepares to open its first Jamshedpur outlet, the city, especially students, young professionals and coffee lovers eagerly anticipates the arrival of its premium coffee experience, which promises to become a new hangout spot.
