Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Mystery shrouds the death of a 40-year-old man whose body was found under Mango Thana area on Tuesday.
The body was later identified as Ganesh Sahu, a resident of Daiguttu in Mango.
Police suspect murder
The police suspect it to be a case of murder as the deceased who used to work as a cook in an eatery at Dimna Chowk had gone out of home in the night only to be found lying dead under a canopy of a bush at an isolated place like Jamshedpur Worker’s College.

Moreover, suspicion arose for it to be a murder case as the body was found in a semi-burnt condition.
The police are trying to unravel the mystery behind the man’s sensational death by taking to the deceased’s widow Shanti Devi.
Police relying on autopsy
Mango Thana OC, Vinay Kumar said that they have sent the body to the MGM Medical College mortuary for postmortem and that whether the man was murdered or not could be established only after getting the autopsy report.
Body found near Subernarekha river
According to sources, Ganesh had taken dinner after returning from the eatery last night but had suddenly gone out the home never to return back.
As the spot where the body was found was close to the Subernarekha River, some local residents who used to go to the river for the daily chores had spotted it and had spread the information about it, leading the police to come to know about this all.
