Jamshedpur, Nov 29: Several districts across Jharkhand especially those located in higher terrain will experience shallow fog early in the morning in the next few days, said a Met bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
The western disturbance now lies as a trough in mid and upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 75°E to the north of Lat. 20°N.
Cyclonic circulation
The induced cyclonic circulation over northern parts of Gujarat and adjoining south Rajasthan now lies over southeast Rajasthan and adjoining West Madhya Pradesh and extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
Low-Pressure Area
The Low-Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait moved westwards and lay over the South Andaman Sea.
Thereafter, it is likely to move northwestwards and intensify further into a cyclonic storm over southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal during subsequent 48 hours.
According to weathermen, there will not be any significant changes in minimum temperature during the next four days, at least.
