Jamshedpur, Jan 9: As part of its commitment to social upliftment, Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO), in collaboration with Public Health Service (PHS), organized a comprehensive medical camp at the CTO II Project site in SLF Begunadih, Potka.

The initiative aimed to provide free medical consultations, essential health check-ups, and medicines to underprivileged villagers, ensuring access to quality healthcare for the community.

The event witnessed overwhelming participation, with 177 villagers of all ages benefiting from the services provided, indicating that it was supported by a committed team of medical professionals and volunteers.

Distinguished guests Sanjib Sardar, MLA, Potka, and Col. Paul Earnest, DGM, JTO, Tata Steel UISL graced the occasion.

They emphasized the significance of regular health check-ups and maintaining general health and hygiene for a better quality of life.

Services Provided

– General health check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar tests, and BMI analysis.

– Specialist consultations in general medicine.

– Distribution of free medicines to all 177 patients.

The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful initiative, which addressed their critical healthcare needs.

The program reinforced Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to fostering sustainable community development and improving the quality of life for underserved populations.

Tata Steel UISL continues to work tirelessly in collaboration with local stakeholders to uplift the community and promote their well-being.
