One DRG personnel martyred, two Naxals killed in Chhattisgarh

Bijapur, March 20: A security forces operation in the forested region along the Bijapur-Dantewada border in Chhattisgarh led to the killing of two Naxalites, police reported on Thursday.

A personnel from the Bijapur District Reserve Guard (DRG) lost his life in the exchange of fire.

Security forces have recovered weapons and ammunition, and search operations are still underway in the area under the Gangaloor police station’s jurisdiction.
