Ranchi, April 14: The Jharkhand State Health Services Association (JSHSA) organized a mega health camp in the remote Chaingarha Panchayat under Budmu block of Ranchi district, providing free medical check-ups and distributing medicines to villagers.
JSHSA president Dr. Bimlesh Singh said the health camp was held under the association’s resolution to adopt one remote village in each district and organize a mega health camp to meet the healthcare needs of villagers.
This was the first time in 25 years that JSHSA organized a mega health camp in a remote village of Ranchi district entirely on its own initiative and funding.

Screening and Treatment for Villagers
As per the plan, a team of 10 specialist doctors visited Chaingarha Panchayat on Sunday. They conducted screenings for sickle cell disease, checked blood pressure, and carried out other health tests during the camp. A total of 517 villagers were examined and provided with free medicines.
“Some patients identified during the mega camp will also receive further treatment at Ranchi Sadar Hospital,” said Dr. Bimlesh Singh, the JSHSA president.

The team of specialist doctors included Ranchi JSHSA unit president Dr. Sujit Kashyap (Surgery), JSHSA Ranchi unit secretary Dr. Vikash Gupta (Physician), JSHSA Ranchi unit treasurer Dr. Ravi Raj (Dental Surgeon), member Dr. Pritish Praney (Eye Surgeon), Dr. Anshu Toppo (ENT Surgeon), Dr. Shilpa Tigga (Gynaecologist), Dr. Mritunjay Singh (Paediatrician), Dr. Bimlesh Singh (President), Dr. Stiphen Xess (Treasurer), and Dr. Tarique Anwar (Officer In-Charge, Budmu CHC).

All doctors actively participated in treating the villagers during the camp.
JSHSA president Dr. Singh also acknowledged the contributions of local leaders in making the camp successful. Budmu Panchayat Chief Satyanarayan Munda, Deputy Chief Hardeo Sahu, District Board Member Manoj Bajpayee, Ramjeet Ganjhu, and Mukhia Deviyanti Devi played important roles in supporting the event.
