Dog bite cases are around 130 every month here in Palamu. The summer season sees a spike in dog bite cases.
The good thing about dog bite cases is that the victim or the family of the victim rushes the dog bite victim to the government hospitals for anti-rabies vaccination.
However, in the snake bite cases, five of the 10 cases are first taken down to ‘Jhar Phoonk Wala’ (exorcist), which later proves fatal.
