The warrant has intensified troubles for Vinay Singh, as the ACB is now actively searching for him, and his arrest appears imminent. Singh had earlier been served a notice by the ACB for questioning in connection with the liquor scam, but he failed to appear before the agency.

Vinay Singh is the owner of Nexgen, an automobile dealership. Notably, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also conducted raids at his premises last year in connection with the liquor scam linked to Chhattisgarh.

The ACB is currently investigating the liquor scam in Jharkhand. So far, it has arrested senior IAS officer Vinay Choubey, Joint Commissioner of Excise Gajendra Singh, and three other officials. The total number of arrests in the case has reached five.
