During the arrest, police recovered a substantial amount of stolen and snatched items. These included gold chains, gold earrings, silver jewellery, expensive wallets, iPhones, and tablets—collectively valued at several lakhs of rupees. Police are currently working to identify the rightful owners of the recovered items.

Key Information Uncovered During Interrogation

During interrogation, Chand provided crucial information about his gang members and their hideouts. Following this revelation, police forces in both Jamshedpur and Seraikela have intensified their search operations.

DSP Tauqeer Alam, addressing the media, said, “The accused has revealed several names involved in similar crimes. A detailed list is being prepared, and raids will be conducted soon.”

Chand alias Langda has been remanded to judicial custody, and further investigations are underway to uncover his involvement in other cases.

DSP Tauqeer Alam emphasized, “This arrest is a significant link in dismantling the network. We are determined to bring all involved to justice and ensure law and order in the city.”
