Dhanbad, July 19: The e-Courts scheme will bring transparency, efficiency, and speed to the judicial process, said Principal District and Sessions Judge Virendra Kumar Tiwari while inaugurating an e-Court training programme with District Sessions Judge Manish Ranjan at the Dhanbad Civil Court on Saturday.

Highlighting the initiative, Judge Tiwari said that the e-Court project, launched by the Supreme Court of India, aims to promote e-filing, online case tracking, video conferencing, and digital document management in courts across the country.

District Judge Manish Ranjan added that the primary objective of the e-Court services is to reduce the backlog of cases, improve the efficiency of judicial processes, and make access to justice easier for citizens.

“It empowers people to check the status of their cases from home, download orders, and participate in hearings through digital platforms, all in a transparent and accountable system,” he said.

Master trainers Deep Narayan and Jai Kesari provided detailed training to advocates and clerk advocates on the functioning and use of the e-Courts platform.
