Daltonganj, August 26: More than 8 feet long India rock python first eased itself by ‘vomiting the frogs that it had swallowed’ to dodge the rescuer but a smart snake rescue team led by a skilful handler and experienced rescuer Abhay Kumar got the python safe and released it in the jungles of the Betla National Park of the Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR) very recently.
Abhay Kumar was assisted by a forest guard Deepal.

The python was in the store room of a resident of Turi tola under the Betla range of the Palamu Tiger Reserve.

The household didn’t harm the snake but informed the right person to take the python back.
The rescued python could weigh around 16 or 17 kgs, opined Abhay Kumar.
Python has a habit of relieving itself of the load of the swallowed stuff if it plans to flee from human intervention. It vomits what it has swallowed just to make itself lighter for escape.
