Ghaziabad, August 30: A CBI anti-corruption court in Ghaziabad has sentenced Punjab National Bank recovery agent Dharmveer Singh to 23 months in prison and imposed a fine of ₹10,000 in a bribery case.

The verdict came on August 29, 2025, after the court accepted Singh’s application for plea bargaining, where he admitted his guilt.

The case dates back to September 14, 2022, when the CBI registered an FIR alleging that Singh had demanded a bribe from a complainant in Hathras.
