Jamshedpur, Dec 19: In a significant announcement, the Government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has declared December 26 as Veer Bal Diwas, honouring the sacrifices of the four Sahibzadas. A state-level committee has been established to oversee and coordinate the celebration, urging active participation from all districts.

State Level Committee Members- State Coordinator: Gurvinder Singh Sethi, State Co-Coordinators: Kulwat Singh Batti, Nawaste Singh Alagan.

As per the plans district presidents are urged to adhere to the instructions outlined in the leaflet received from the Centre. The programme is to be systematically organized in each district and division, with timely completion. Special meetings will be be organized in every circle, featuring displays of Sahibzadas’ pictures. Participants are encouraged to collectively visit the local Gurudwara and engage in Shabd Kirtan.

“The Veer Bal Diwas celebration aims to unite communities, instill a sense of pride, and commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas. The state-level committee is committed to ensuring a meaningful and impactful event,” said Sethi.

Division and district-level Prabhat Pheri should be organized, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual connection.

Quiz Competitions and Activities: Organize quiz competitions and various activities, creating an engaging and informative atmosphere.

Digital Exhibitions: District centers are instructed to host digital exhibitions, offering a modern and accessible platform to showcase the significance of Veer Bal Diwas.

Intellectual Seminar: Conduct intellectual seminars in schools and colleges, promoting discussions on the sacrifices of Sahibzadas.

Symposium and Speech Competitions: Encourage diverse perspectives by organizing symposiums, speech competitions, and other thought-provoking events.

District-Level Exhibition: Showcase the sacrifice of Sahibzadas through an exhibition at the district level, educating and honoring their contributions.
