Dhanbad, Nov 26: Judges, judiciary members and others took the pledge of loyalty to the Constitution on Wednesday at the Civil Court premises on the occasion of Constitution Day.
The Principal District & Sessions Judge of Dhanbad, Virendra Kumar Tiwari, administered the oath to judges and judiciary officers. He said there could be no better opportunity to understand the strength, objectives, and vision of social and economic justice embodied in the Indian Constitution.

Reading of the Preamble Marks the Ceremony
Judge Tiwari said, “Although we work every day under the provisions of the Constitution, there is one day in the year when we gather together to express our loyalty to it. For this reason, today we have taken the constitutional oath and read its Preamble.”

He appealed to everyone to work in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
During the oath-taking function, all judicial officers of Dhanbad, the LADC team, legal volunteers, and Civil Court employees read the Preamble of the Constitution and expressed their loyalty.
