Daltonganj, Dec 21: Edara-e-Sharia (EeS) Ranchi has demanded grant in aid for the 592 Madrasas along with the formation of the Madrasa Board in Jharkhand. It has expressed its dissatisfaction that the state government has not taken interest in it at all as to how in 23 long years of the existence of Jharkhand there is no Madrasa Board here.
The EeS has called for propagation of the religious teachings along with the modern education thus trying to silence those critics who charge this community with retrogession, not progression.
Education and loan for economic activity for the Muslims were another important agenda of the EeS. It has asked the state government to extend coaching facility for the Muslims for competitive examinations.
The EeS has pointed out a wide gap between the population of the Muslims and its ratio of the employment. It wants this gap to be squeezed.
Streamlining to the Sunni Waqf Board and others too have been demanded.
As for the centre the EeS wants end to any blasphemy against the Prophet Sahib along with the enactment to the Muslim Safety Act on the pattern of the SC ST prevention of the atrocities act.

A resolution to this effect was released by the EeS at its mammoth and historic event held in Daltonganj on Wednesday.
The Eidgah ground was overflowing with the crowd of the Muslims. Never in the history of Palamu in the past 20 or 30 years there has been such a sea of Muslims at one place like this Wednesday event.
The EeS is organising Tehreek e Bedari across the state which is an awareness campaign for the Muslims to know their rights and to foster amity in the society.
Former Rajya Sabha member Ghulam Rasool Baliavi was the star campaigner besides a huge battery of Moulanas and Imams.
There were two missing things in this grand show. Women were not allowed. There is a popular belief that no awareness is possible or complete if women are not involved in such events. Here women were conspicuously absent in this event. Here it was outright a male programme.
The speakers were mostly religious chiefs. Youths should also have been given a chance to speak as youths would have expressed their challenges far better than the elderly people.
Again, the EeS should strive to cement sects among the Muslims. A particular sect of Muslims was present here.
Muslims have broadly two sects. One is Barelwi and the other is Deobandi. The former outnumbers the later here in Palamu.
Can the EeS explain as to why words for this programme did not reached a Muslim dominated Gurha village under the Tarhassi police station limits?
The EeS event was apolitical as there were no prominent leaders of any recognised national or regional parties in this one day event.
There were suggestions for the Muslims like shun dowry, stop wedding extravaganza, establish Namaz, promote amity, observance of the Shariat, promoting micro finance, concern over growing trend of apostasy in the society, registration for Waqf property and mosques etc.
