The Fraudulent Govt has deceived people even on 1932-based domicile policy: Pratul Shah Deo

Ranchi, Dec 9: BJP State Spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo said that by promising a domicile policy based on the 1932 land records, Hemant Soren has deceived the tribal and indigenous people of Jharkhand, proving that this is truly a fraudulent government.

“The people of Jharkhand have every right to know why, even after six long years in power, the Hemant Soren government has not been able to bring a single local domicile policy. Till today, neither a cut-off date has been declared, nor has any land-record-based policy been formulated, nor have the youth been given any concrete roadmap. This government only gives assurances and then remains silent on them,” he said.

“Since 2012, the JMM government has only indulged in drama over the land-record-based policy”

Pratul said that this is the same Hemant Soren who, in 2012, withdrew support from the Arjun Munda government over the issue of the 1932 khatiyan-based appointment policy. Back then, it was projected as “true public sentiment.” But today, even after holding the Chief Minister’s chair for six years, there is zero achievement on this policy front—nothing could be a greater irony.

Pratul said that the truth is: the Hemant government lacks intent; it only makes hollow proclamations. The game of misleading Jharkhand’s unemployed youth has now been fully exposed.

Pratul added that on the issue of a land-record-based domicile policy, the government has been repeatedly deceiving the people. “For six years, files gathered dust while the government kept giving speeches. The youth of the state are asking: if this policy was important enough to withdraw support in 2012, why has no work been done on it until 2025?” he said.

“The fraudulent government has even betrayed the promise of giving 75% of contracts to locals”

Pratul said that to win votes, the Hemant government made grand promises to the tribal and indigenous communities, including the assurance of giving 75% of government contracts to locals.

“But once in power, the tune changed completely, and now tender conditions are being kept in such a way that local companies cannot even participate. When it comes to taking U-turns, this fraudulent government has no match,” he added.
