IIM Ranchi launches MDP for Kotak Mahindra Bank executives

Ranchi, Dec 11: IIM Ranchi today inaugurated a two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Leadership and Managerial Development for executives of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited.

The programme focuses on strengthening leadership capabilities and preparing participants to navigate challenges in an evolving business landscape.

The session opened with a welcome address by Prof. Manish Kumar, Programme Director, who outlined the objectives of the MDP and encouraged participants to deepen their understanding of managerial skills.

Prof. Manish Bansal, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consulting (EEC), commended the participants’ commitment and introduced IIM Ranchi’s vision for executive learning.

He also highlighted the institute’s various executive offerings, including MDPs, Long Duration Programmes (LDP), Short Duration Programmes (SDP), and other specialised courses designed to benefit professionals across managerial roles.

The inauguration featured the traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by a group photograph.

Over the next two days, participants will engage in sessions on essential leadership competencies such as conflict management, negotiation, leading high-performing teams, transformational and adaptive leadership, and managing change and innovation.

The curriculum emphasizes practical strategies that can be applied directly to workplace scenarios.

The programme concludes on December 12.
