Jharkhand News: Infant’s severed head found near health centre in Godda

Godda, Dec 22: The severed head of an infant was found near a government health facility in Jharkhand’s Godda district, triggering a police investigation into the disturbing incident.

The remains were found near the Community Health Centre in Pathargama.

Confirming the recovery, Pathargama police station officer-in-charge Shiv Dayal Singh said efforts are ongoing to trace the rest of the body.

He added that preliminary suspicion points to the possibility of wild animals having exhumed the body after burial, though all angles are being examined as part of the probe.
