Jamshedpur, Dec 23: Ahead of the scheduled visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Jamshedpur on December 29, the district administration has stepped up preparations to ensure a smooth, secure and dignified programme.
A high-level review meeting was chaired by the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner (DC), Karn Satyarthi, who thoroughly assessed all administrative, security and protocol-related arrangements linked to the President’s visit.

Senior officials from the district administration, police, municipal bodies and other key departments participated in the meeting.

During the review, detailed discussions were held on route mapping, traffic regulation, crowd management and security deployment.
Officials were directed to ensure strict compliance with presidential protocol and seamless coordination among all concerned departments to avoid any lapses at any stage of the visit.
Special emphasis was laid on improving civic infrastructure along the proposed routes.
Authorities were instructed to complete road repairs, painting, lighting, sanitation and other essential works within stipulated timelines to present the city in its best form.
In view of the high-security nature of the visit, a general prohibitory order declaring a No-Fly Zone has been enforced across Jamshedpur and the surrounding areas.

The order prohibits the operation of drones, paragliders, hot-air balloons and similar aerial devices during the President’s stay.
The restrictions will remain in force from 6 pm on December 28 till 10 pm on December 29.
According to officials, the President is scheduled to arrive at Sonari Airport and proceed to various designated locations, including the Circuit House, the Adityapur-based NIT Jamshedpur and Karandih on the outskirts of Jamshedpur.
Security arrangements along the routes and at all venues are being strengthened, with additional personnel deployment and surveillance measures.
All departments have been assigned specific responsibilities and instructed to complete preparations within the prescribed timeframe.
