RAMGARH, May 30: In a proud and significant moment for the Indian Army, 1,121 Agniveer recruits of Batch-VII successfully passed out from the Punjab Regimental Centre (PRC), Ramgarh Cantonment, after completing 24 weeks of rigorous military training.
The grand Passing Out Parade (POP), held on Saturday, showcased exceptional standards of military discipline, unit cohesion, combat readiness and regimental ethos. The young Agniveers marched with precision and confidence, reflecting their commitment to serving the nation.
Commandant Reviews Parade
The ceremony was reviewed by Brigadier Sajesh Babu PG, Commandant, Punjab Regimental Centre, in the presence of instructors, military personnel and proud family members of the Agniveers.
The event marked the transformation of young recruits into disciplined and capable soldiers ready to undertake operational responsibilities in various units of the Indian Army.

24 Weeks of Intensive Military Training
During the six-month training period, the Agniveers underwent intensive physical conditioning, tactical exercises, weapon handling, drone training and mental endurance programmes.
The training was designed to develop leadership qualities, professionalism, courage, combat skills and a strong sense of duty among the recruits.
Outstanding Trainees Honoured
Several Agniveers were felicitated for excellence in different categories, including:
- Drill performance
- Weapon firing
- Physical endurance
- Overall training performance
Military officials praised the award winners for their dedication, discipline and high standards of military excellence.
Oath to Serve the Nation
At the culmination of the ceremony, the Agniveers took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and the nation, pledging to uphold the honour, integrity and traditions of the Indian Army.
A special highlight of the event was the presentation of the traditional “Gaurav Padak” to parents in recognition of their support, sacrifice and encouragement in inspiring their children to join the armed forces.
The Passing Out Parade concluded amid patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Agniveers of Batch-VII as they prepare to serve the nation with honour, courage and determination.
The ceremony reflected the Punjab Regimental Centre’s continued commitment to producing disciplined and combat-ready soldiers for the Indian Army.
