He said the institute’s priority was to prepare Jharkhand’s youth for the requirements of the aviation industry by providing quality professional training within the state.

Trained candidates could pursue career opportunities with airlines and airports as air hostesses, flight stewards and ground crew, as well as in ground handling, passenger services and aviation hospitality.

Focus on Professional Skills, Not Just Certificates

Captain Sinha said the institute’s objective was not merely to provide certificates but to equip candidates with the skills and professional attributes required by the aviation industry.

These include professional competence, communication skills, discipline, personality development and industry-oriented expertise.

The Jharkhand Flying Institute has also previously launched training for the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

First Merit List Expected by Month-End

With the interview process now complete, the first merit list of selected candidates is expected to be released on the Jharkhand Flying Institute’s official website during the last week of August.

Selected candidates will receive information regarding enrolment and the training programme through the designated channels.

The launch of the aviation training programme is expected to provide Jharkhand’s youth with greater access to employment-oriented opportunities in the growing aviation and airport services sector.
