Ranchi, August 25: DRISTI volunteers organised ‘एहसास — Connecting Hearts, Celebrating Lives’ at Guru Nanak Home for Handicapped Children on Bariatu Road, Ranchi, bringing an afternoon of creativity, laughter and meaningful interaction for the children.
Guided by co-founder Shubhanshu Shekhar Shukla and under the leadership of Chapter Lead Piyush Srivastava, the initiative focused on promoting inclusion, participation and joyful engagement with the children.
The programme was organised under DRISTI’s DISHA and DAKSHA pillars, with an emphasis on empathy, connection and togetherness.
Games, Creativity and Music Bring Children Together
The event began with a warm welcome and introduction, followed by a series of interactive activities, including colouring and card-making, a Balloon Passing Game and a round of Tambola.
A special creativity activity brought the children and volunteers together as the participants added their handprints to a collective DRISTI poster, symbolising unity and participation.
The celebrations concluded with music and dance, followed by the distribution of chocolates and pencils to the children.

Volunteers Create Moments of Joy
A dedicated team of volunteers, including Tanu, Kali, Yashika, Pummy, Swadha, Mohit, Shivendu and Ashika, among others, ensured smooth coordination and enthusiastic participation throughout the programme.
Their collective effort reflected DRISTI’s commitment to inclusion and meaningful engagement.
The smiles, laughter and heartfelt interactions during the afternoon underscored the importance of genuine human connection and showed how small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and moments of joy.
