Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Eastern region organized a groundbreaking conference on rooftop solar adoption at the Adityapur Auto Cluster today.
The event aimed to foster awareness and discussion on the crucial topic of sustainable energy solutions.
Ritu Raj Sinha, managing director, Tata Steel UISL and convenor, CII Jharkhand Sustainability and Energy Panel along with Ranjot Singh, Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council, graced the occasion as the chief guest and guest of honour, respectively.
Their presence underscored the significance of the collaborative effort to address sustainable energy challenges.

Ritu Raj Sinha addressed the gathering and stated “This initiative aligns with our dedication to environmental responsibility, reducing carbon footprint, and contributing to a cleaner, greener future. By embracing rooftop solar technology, we aim to not only meet our energy needs but also set a benchmark for responsible business practices within the industry.”
During the occasion, Ranjot Singh addressed the gathering and said “Rooftop solar adoption is a key initiative and an important topic that is very close to our hearts; in some way or another, it comes and touches our lives. It is also a part of sustainability. We are all aware of how the world is becoming more sensitive to making the planet green, safer and a better place to live. Initiatives like this need our support to help our planet become greener and safer.”
The event marks a significant step forward in the commitment of Tata Steel UISL and CII towards fostering sustainable practices and addressing the growing need for renewable energy solutions in the region.
