Dhanbad, Jan. 9: Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) General Manager (Sales) Hitesh Verma today lodged an FIR accusing Kumbh Nath Singh, a contractor of Gol 9 Rly siding in Lodna Area, of abusing and threatening violence against him.

In a complaint to the Seraidhela police station, he stated that Singh called up in the morning, telling him to contact the EC Railways to change the destination of the rake supplied to Adhunik Power.

Adhunik Power

“Here, it would be pertinent to mention that the Coal Supply Agreement with Adhunik Power was valid only for three months and the same was expiring in two days; hence, the supplies were being given by Railways so that the same does not lapse,” he has stated.

Verma said in his complaint that he had apprised all the senior officers, including the CMD, of the incident.

After that, when he reached his residence at about 7.30 pm, five to six miscreants entered his campus and started hurling abuses at him.

They threatened to beat him, not allow him to stay there and would meet a fatal accident.
