The primary focus of the meeting was to evaluate the border situation and examine the robustness of airport security across the country.

Officials briefed the Home Minister on the latest security arrangements, preparedness measures, and the current situation on the ground, particularly in sensitive zones vulnerable to cross-border threats. The review comes amid a nationwide alert and ongoing efforts to bolster the country’s security infrastructure.

According to reports, the meeting specifically focused on security arrangements at airports, power projects, and other sensitive installations.
The Home Minister instructed CISF officials that there must be no laxity in securing such locations. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is responsible for safeguarding the country’s key airports and industrial infrastructures.
