New Delhi, Dec 3: In the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Congress’ defeat is inevitable as on the lead BJP will most probably emerge victorious.

Based on the most recent trends from the Election Commission, the BJP showcased a strong display in the Hindi heartland states, including a two-thirds majority in Madhya Pradesh and easy wins in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

Vote counting commenced at 8 am on Sunday for the four out of five states that underwent elections last month.

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is ahead on 165 out of 230 seats, in Chhattisgarh, 55 out of 90 seats, and in Rajasthan, 113 out of 199 seats.

In Chhattisgarh, where Congress was expected to perform well, the party is currently leading on 32 seats. Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, Congress holds the lead on 71 seats, and in Madhya Pradesh it is leading on 63 seats.

The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, which has ruled India’s youngest state for the previous 10 years, is about to suffer a blow as the Congress is all set to win Telangana for the first time.

According to the most recent trends reported by the Election Commission, in Telangana, Congress is in the lead for 65 out of 119 assembly seats, BRS is leading on 38, BJP on nine and AIMIM on six.

Notably, Katipally Venkata Ramana Reddy from the BJP has emerged victorious against both the departing and incoming chief ministers of Telangana.

Katipally Venkata Ramana Reddy, known as KVR, has secured victory in the crucial Kamareddy constituency in Telangana. This assembly seat was contested by both Chief Minister and BRS leader K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and the state Congress chief A Revanth Reddy.

However, the final margins of seats in the four states are yet to be announced by the Election Commission of India.
