Campus News: DPS Ranchi conducts aptitude tests, parents’ interactive session

Ranchi, March 15: Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi conducted the phase 1 Aptitude Test today for aspiring candidates seeking admission to Class XI for the session 2024-25.

Over 2000 applicants nationwide flocked to the examination centre (Delhi Public School, Ranchi), armed with admit cards. The applicants had previously received comprehensive information regarding the examination pattern, duration, and syllabus for all streams (Science, Commerce, and Humanities) from the school’s official website.

In addition to the aptitude test, DPS Ranchi organised an interactive session tailored for the parents of the applicants at the Vivekananda Auditorium. Dr. Ram Singh, the Principal of the school addressed the session.

In his address, Dr Singh quoted the school’s motto, “Service Before Self,” and emphasised DPS Ranchi’s commitment to providing quality education that fosters the development of students’ bodies, minds, and characters. He also highlighted the school’s mission to nurture individuals who contribute positively to society and the nation at large.

He also highlighted the various career options a student could pursue in their future endeavours.

The Principal urged parents support and encourage their children’s interests and career aspirations wholeheartedly.

He underscored the pivotal role of the school in shaping its students’ lives and the significance of skills and human values in one’s journey through life. He fielded numerous queries from parents, addressing concerns ranging from the school’s education system to preparation for prestigious examinations and potential career pathways.

As part of the program, a PowerPoint presentation showcased the achievements of DPS Ranchi students in various arenas, including Board Examinations and competitions at the International, National, State, and District levels.

A platform for prospective students

The event provided a platform for prospective students and their parents to gain valuable insights into Delhi Public School Ranchi’s admission process, educational ethos, and accomplishments.
