New Delhi, May 11: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at PM Modi and BJP in the press conference held at the party office today. Kejriwal alleged that Modiji will send all the opposition leaders to jail.

In his address, Chief Minister Kejriwal expressed his determination to confront the authoritarianism, thanking the Supreme Court for granting him 21 days. He pledged to tour the nation to halt this tyranny, considering every drop of his blood a sacrifice for the country’s welfare.

“They will send opposition leaders to jail and will finish them. Our ministers, Hemant Soren (former Jharkhand CM), ministers of Mamata Banerjee’s party (Trinamool Congress) are in jail…If they (BJP) win again, then Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Uddhav Thackeray (UBT Chief) and other opposition leaders will all be in jail,” Kejriwal stated at a press conference.

“No other party has been harassed to this extent in 75 years. The Prime Minister is saying that he is fighting corruption but all the thieves are in his party,” he added.

They cannot defeat us in Delhi, so they fabricated false conspiracy to send me to jail: Kejriwal

In his statement, Kejriwal emphasized that the position of Chief Minister is not crucial to him. He explained why he didn’t resign from the CM post even after going to jail. He alleged that the BJP knew they couldn’t defeat him in Delhi, hence they devised a false conspiracy to imprison him, hoping he would resign and the government would collapse.

He asserted his refusal to resign, stating that if they imprison him against the will of the people, he would run the government from jail, indicating they won’t be trapped in their schemes.

Chief Minister Kejriwal said that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren should have also run the government from jail instead of resigning. He accused the BJP of planning to imprison the Chief Ministers of the states they lose elections in, with the intention of toppling their governments.

“You include all the thieves in your party and send Kejriwal to jail, this is not a fight against corruption… By arresting Kejriwal, they have given the message that if Kejriwal is arrested then they will arrest anyone. The name of this mission is ‘One Nation One Leader…,” Kejriwal added.

Modi is not asking votes for himself but for Amit Shah: Kejriwal

Kejriwal said that PM Modi is turning 75 on September 17 next year. In 2014, he himself had made a rule within the BJP that people would retire after turning 75, and taunted that first LK Advani was retired, then Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan, Yashwant Sinha were retired.

Modi is going to retire next year in 2025 on 17th September. Kejriwal said that he wants to ask BJP who is their Prime Ministerial candidate. He said that if BJP government is formed then Yogi Adityanath will be disposed of in two months. After that, Modi’s close aide Amit Shahji will be made the Prime Minister.Top of Form

Kejriwal said, Modi is not asking for votes for himself but for Amit Shah. He added that PM Modi says that he is fighting corruption, but he has included corrupt people in his party and that if you want to fight against corruption then learn from us.

“I want to say to PM Modi that If you want to fight corruption then learn from Kejriwal…After the formation of the government in Delhi, I dismissed one of my ministers and sent him to jail. In Punjab, we sent a minister to jail,” he stated.
