New Delhi, Dec 9: Following a brief gunfight in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj locality on Friday night, two members of the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate were arrested, police stated.
According to police, Anish and a 15-year-old juvenile, who were arrested, were purportedly en route to carry out an extortion-related shooting near a well-known 5-star hotel in South Delhi when they were apprehended.
Exchange of gunfire
Based on precise intelligence information, the police arrested the pair as they approached the designated location on a motorcycle. The interception resulted in a short exchange of gunfire.

The accused fired a total of five rounds, while the police responded in self-defence with two rounds, and they say that no one was hurt.
The motorcycle that was utilized in the crime as well as two sophisticated pistols that hold four live cartridges have been seized.
Both accused have criminal history
A case has been filed at the Special Cell police station under pertinent sections 186/353/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act.
Police probe disclosed that Anish has a documented history of engagement in six criminal cases, encompassing offenses such as armed robbery, violations of the Arms Act, and assault, all occurring within the Rohtak district.
The minor was also discovered to have involvement in a previous armed robbery incident in Rohtak.
