Jamshedpur, Nov 12: Jharkhand continues to experience dry weather conditions with a noticeable dip in temperature across several districts.

As per the Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, no significant synoptic condition currently prevails over the state.

However, north-westerly to northerly winds dominate the lower tropospheric levels, contributing to a steady decline in night temperatures.

The minimum temperature dropped sharply in several parts, with Gumla recording the lowest at 8.5°C.

Meanwhile, Chaibasa registered the highest maximum temperature at 30.8°C during the past 24 hours.

The Met Office has forecast cold wave conditions in isolated pockets of Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Garhwa, Chatra, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Sahebganj, Pakur, Godda, Palamu, Latehar, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Gumla, Khunti, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Simdega on November 12, especially in areas adjoining north Chhattisgarh.

Residents have been advised to brace for chilly mornings and evenings as cold north-westerly winds continue to sweep across the state.

The weather is expected to remain dry and cool over the next few days, marking a clear transition toward the winter season.
