Jamshedpur, Sept 10: In a major breakthrough, police have arrested the key accused in the ₹30 lakh loot case involving businessman Saket Agrawal near Bistupur Gurudwara.
The mastermind was caught in Punjab and brought on transit remand, with a substantial portion of the looted money recovered from him.

With this arrest, the total number of accused held in the case has risen to five.

Police officials said the mastermind, an employee of a logistics company, had conspired with local criminals after noticing Agrawal’s frequent bank visits with cash. The gang conducted surveillance for a week before executing the robbery.
Interrogation of the accused is expected to expose the full network of the gang.

Police are also tracking other suspects and believe the breakthrough will help curb similar organized crimes in future.
