Jharkhand ACB interrogates excise commissioner in liquor scam case

Ranchi, May 20: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has now commenced questioning Gajendra Singh, Joint Commissioner of the Excise Department, in connection with the liquor scam.

Earlier, the ACB had summoned former Secretary Vinay Chaubey from his residence for interrogation.

Following valuable information gathered during Chaubey’s questioning, the ACB summoned Excise Commissioner Gajendra Singh to their office.

Upon his arrival, officials began a detailed inquiry into his role.

Singh is believed to have played a key part in the liquor scam linked to the Chhattisgarh syndicate operating in Jharkhand.
