IG of police, Palamu zone, R K Lakra said, “I have directed the SDPOs to have an interaction with the media persons in the police station over a cup of tea as a part of bond with the people.”

A handful of journalists took part in the interactive session with the SDPO Surjit Kumar today in the town police station where the inspector -cum-officer in-charge of the town police station Abhay Kumar Sinha offered tea and biscuits.

After the interactive session, the police contingent led by SDPO Surjit Kumar, OC town Abhay Kumar Sinha etc rolled down on nine bikes for a detour to the town.

Police bandobast is not obstructive but it is optical to the utmost. There is no street here where a common man’s eyes do not meet cops.
