Dhanbad, Dec 11: The district unit of BJP led by MP PN Singh and MLA Raj Sinha today held a massive demonstration at Randhir Verma Chowk demanding the expulsion of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu from Rajya Sabha in the wake of massive black money in IT raids.

Hundreds of activists assembled at Randhir Verma Chowk in the afternoon and demanded immediate arrest and a CBI inquiry against corruption committed by  Dheeraj Sahu.

PN Singh and Raj Sinha alleged that since the Congress has sent Dheeraj Sahu Rajya Sabha based on the massive wealth he amassed through corruption, his membership should be terminated immediately and an ED and CBI  probe should be conducted.

In IT raids conducted at different places in three states, Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal of the Congress Rajya Sabha MP, the IT has recovered over Rs 300 crores cash.

The BJP leaders alleged that the Congress Party is habitual of committing and promoting corruption.

BJP Dhanbad District Town President Chandrashekhar Singh, Rural president Gyanrajan Sinha, Dhanbad District Board   chairman Sharda Singh, Yogendra Yadav, Ramesh Rahi, Tara Devi ( wife of Sindri MLA Indrajit Mahto),  district general secretary Nitin Bhatt Shrawan Ray, vice-president  Umesh Yadav also addressed the rally.
