Advocate Rahul Kumar has also pointed out in legal notice that as per published report both Niranjan Kumar and Vivek Kumar have admitted there had been some dispute between them in which Deepak Prakash had no role. None has uttered a word about the involvement of Deepak Prakash in it.

“However, the news item has been presented with an alarming and sensational heading as if Deepak Prakash was involved in it”, said the legal notice.

The legal notice has charged that an attempt has been made to damage the reputation of the MP by dragging his name in that dispute with which he is not connected. “As part of the news item, a distorted and altered version of the MP has also been published”, said the notice.

The notice said Deepak Prakash, in strong words, also denied any such meeting at his residence and the absence of any evidence. Such reckless and cooked-up news items with sensational headings should not be published, the notice added.
