Ranchi, Nov. 26: BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today launched a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government, saying the poor tribals in the chief minister’s constituency area are dying of malaria but he is not worried. “Hemant Soren is only worried about money and family,” he said.

Government of brokers

Marandi said that the Hemant government is a government of brokers and middlemen. “By giving liquor contracts to people from Chhattisgarh and outside, the rights of the people of the state are being violated,” he alleged.

He said that those who have mines on their land are labourers and the owners have come from outside. “The Adhikar Yatra is a journey to make the people here the owners of the mines and make them rich and millionaires,” he added.

Foreign liquor shops

He promised that as soon as the BJP government is formed in the state, the youth of Jharkhand will be given foreign liquor shops like petrol pumps and gas agencies.

Call for making Modi PM, again

He called for the formation of the Modi government for the third time by making NDA candidates win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand in 2024 and forming a strong government under the leadership of BJP in the assembly elections.

He was addressing a public meeting at Durgapur School grounds in Sahibganj, Santhal Pargana on the conclusion of the two-day tribal rights motorcycle rally organized by the BJP Scheduled Tribe Morcha.

The journey that started from Bhognadih, the land of martyrs, Sido- Kanhu and Chand-Bhairav, ended today.

Marandi said that the journey is not over yet. “This journey will stop only when the pain and suffering of the 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand goes away. The tribals, Dalits and deprived people here will get their rights and entitlements,” he said.
