Ranchi, June 5: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday inaugurated the Sirmatoli flyover and announced that it will be named after Kartik Oraon.

He added that the government will formally approve the naming. “We are careful not to hurt anyone’s sentiments,” the Chief Minister said.

He further stated, “Being a political party doesn’t mean sacrificing someone for political gain. Such injustice will not be tolerated under this government.”

Referring to the controversies surrounding the flyover, he remarked, “The Sirmatoli flyover has been in the spotlight for various reasons, but we don’t wish to dwell on that.”

The Chief Minister also criticized those seeking cheap popularity. “Many make big promises and bold statements just to gain attention, but that doesn’t hide the reality,” he said.
