Dhanbad, May 14: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of the Government of India today flagged off a voter awareness ‘Rath’ to increase the vote percentage in the Dhanbad Lok Sabha area.
Dhanbad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ravi Raj Sharma flagged off the Rath and said that it is our fundamental right to vote and we must exercise this right and strengthen the democracy of the country by discharging our role.
Election in Dhanbad is scheduled in the 6th phase on May 25.

The Municipal Corporation commissioner said that this Rath which covers every nook and corner of Lok Sabha in rural as well as urban pockets area in a five-day campaign would remind voters to cast a vote. “Election is the most important festival for us and we should not leave any stone unturned in celebrating it,” he said.
On the occasion, the regional officer of Central Bureau Communication Onkarnath Pandey, assistant regional officer CBC Rajkishore Paswan and other officials were present in large numbers.

The official said the ‘Rath’ would visit Jagjivan Nagar, Police line, Manaitand, Hirapur, Barmasia, Bank More, Shramik Chowk, Bekarbadh, Steel Gate Saraidhela for awareness of voters.
