Jamshedpur, May 10: Chhattisgarh chief minister, Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday addressed a meeting in support of the NDA’s BJP candidate from Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat Geeta Koda at Manoharpur in West Singhbhum.
Attended by hundreds of people, including women under the scorching sun, the meeting had been organised at Hathinaka village in Manoharpur, which is one of the eight assembly segments falling under the Singhbhum parliamentary constituency.
Significantly, the massive turnout of people at the meeting reflected the popularity of Geeta Koda in Manoharpur where the INDI Alliance’s JMM candidate Joba Majhi was a legislator.
While addressing the meeting, the Chhattisgarh chief minister who shared the dais with Geeta Koda gave an account of the developmental works under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during the 10-year period of the NDA rule in the country.

“The country has made tremendous progress on all fronts during the past one decade of NDA rule. The country will do more progress only if you all strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi by giving your esteemed votes in the symbol of ‘Kamal,'” said Vishnu Deo while addressing the meeting.
The Chhattisgarh CM pointed out the country is passing through a crucial situation given all the divisive forces coming together to influence the gullible people of this region by spreading lies about the BJP-led NDA government in the Centre.
“You, therefore make up your mind to bring a strong government in the Centre by ensuring the victory of Geeta Koda from the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat” said the visiting chief minister.
Polling in the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat is scheduled to be held on May 13, and the visit of a chief minister of a neighbouring state to address an election meeting was stated to have increased the winning prospect of Geeta Koda.
