Dhanbad, Oct 25: Thirteen students from Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, have successfully qualified for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) 2025.
Topping the school’s list was Anuj of Class XII, followed by Riddhim Gupta, Kumar Anmol, and Aman Raj Aman from Class XII; Utkarsh Kumar, Jay Satvik Madireddy, and Ayushi Singh from Class XI; Raunak Raj, Rishabh Raj, Shlok Anand, Shivam Ojha, and Alia Senapati from Class X; and Ashutosh Kumar Mishra from Class IX.

The IOQM serves as the first stage of the Mathematical Olympiad Programme in India and is a crucial step for students aspiring to represent the country at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

The examination is conducted jointly by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association (India) in collaboration with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), under the aegis of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM).
DPS Bokaro principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar congratulated the students, praising their dedication and hard work.

He also acknowledged the role of the school’s faculty, whose mentorship has been instrumental in guiding the students toward success, and wished them the very best for the upcoming rounds of the Olympiad.
