Daltonganj, June 19: “Azad Samaj Party (K) and Bhim Army are never any hostile to any party or community or sect. This party and its Bhim Army simply propagate its ideologies without casting any aspersion to any caste, creed or political ideology,” said the leader of this party, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, on Thursday in Daltonganj.

“The Azad Samaj Party (K) and Bhim Army respect the sentiments of people of all faith and creed. There is no malice to anyone individually or collectively,” said Khan.

Response to Allegations Against Chandrashekhar Azad
The Thursday press conference of this party was to counter the wild allegations levelled against its supremo Chandrashekhar Azad by some big faces of the Brahmin Samaj on social media platform.

The press conference had the district president of the Azad Samaj Party, Sunil Oraon, district president of the Bhim Army, Chandan Ram, state secretary Nagmani Rajak, Ajay Singh Chero and others.
“The digital tirade against our supremo Chandrashekar Azad is very unfortunate and reprehensible. It’s time to sit together and dispel any misunderstanding about the party,” added Khan.
Police Complaint Filed Under BNS Provisions
The situation has come to such a pass when the Azad Samaj Party (K) and Bhim Army have jointly petitioned the police of the SC and ST thana to institute a criminal case against some big personalities of the Brahmin Samaj who are out to tarnish and intimidate not only their supremo but the functionaries of the party and Bhim Army here in Palamu.
As per the new provisions of the BNS, such a complaint arising out of hate content or malice towards caste and creed is to be investigated by the police in 14 days from the date of the lodging of the complaint and here in this case, the complaint petition has been filed on June 14.

Call for Reconciliation and Constructive Dialogue
Khan said, “It would be in a fitness of things if the elite of the Brahmin Samaj and the functionaries of the Azad Samaj Party K and Bhim Army sit face to face and make an honest effort to dispel any misunderstanding or misinformation about each other.”
The Azad Samaj Party (K) and Bhim Army aim at the welfare of all people irrespective of caste and colour, Khan reiterated.
