Dhanbad, Nov 24: The annual global alumni meet of BIT Sindri concluded on Sunday evening with a collective resolve from former students to further strengthen alumni engagement and contribute to the institution’s growth, excellence, and future roadmap.

The Alumni Meet 2025 was organised by the Alumni Cell in collaboration with the BIT Sindri Alumni Association (BITSAA) at the Deshpandey Auditorium. Alumni from multiple batches and chapters across the world attended the event, making it a vibrant platform for networking, reflection, and vision-building.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Ghanshyam, Training and Placement Officer and Chairman of the Career Development Centre (CDC), highlighted recent institutional achievements, ongoing placement improvements, and growing industry collaboration with BIT Sindri.

Earlier, the programme began with a welcome address by BITSAA patron and BIT Sindri Director Dr Pankaj Rai, along with joint secretary Kishore Yadav.

BITSAA treasurer Rajendra Kumar Murmu presented the annual financial report. Distinguished alumni including Vinay Mohan Pahadi, U.K. Singh, and D.K. Singh also spoke on strengthening alumni networks, fostering institutional development, and identifying new avenues for collaboration and innovation.

The event featured scholarship announcements, alumni networking sessions, and the Silver Jubilee celebration of the 1996–2000 batch—creating an emotional and nostalgic moment for those returning to campus. The evening also included a captivating cultural performance by the ARTS Club of BIT Sindri.

The meet concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr R. K. Verma, who acknowledged the contributions of dignitaries, alumni, organisers, and volunteers for ensuring the programme’s success and strengthening the bond between the institute and its global alumni community.
