Dhanbad, Dec 6: BIT Sindri, a premier institute owned by the Jharkhand government, is set to host a two-day IEEE international conference, BITCON-2024, on December 7 and 8.

Sharing details about the event, BIT Sindri Director Dr. Pankaj Rai stated that the theme of the conference is “Applications of Next Generation in Renewable Energy Technology.”

The conference aims to serve as a platform for global experts, researchers, educationists, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss innovations and developments in renewable energy while sharing their experiences.

“BITCON-24 shows the commitment of our institution (BIT Sindri) for the promotion of innovation and sustainability. We hope this conference will prove to be an important platform for discussing global challenges and solutions through advanced technology,” said Dr. Rai.

A Platform for experts and innovators

Dr. M.D. Abul Kalam, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department and Chairman of BITCON-2024, expressed excitement about hosting this prestigious international conference. “We are eager to host this prestigious international conference in which different sessions on technical topics, workshops, and other activities will be held. We have left no stone unturned for the success of this conference,” said Dr. Kalam.

He further encouraged active participation, stating, “Since BITCON-2024 is a major event for experts and research scholars interested in renewable energy, I request all experts, faculty members, and students of the institution to attend the conference and take advantage of it.”
