Congress leaders inspect Rajiv Gandhi Senior Citizens Park for March 27 event

Ranchi, March 12, 2025: Preparations are underway for a special event scheduled on March 27, at Rajiv Gandhi Senior Citizens Park, located near the old Assembly in Ranchi.

To review the arrangements, senior Congress leaders, including Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Alok Kumar Dubey, Ravindra Singh, Satish Paul Munjini, Gajendra Singh, and Mehul Dubey, visited the venue and provided necessary instructions.

Event Highlights and Schedule

Congress in-charge for Jharkhand, K. Raju, will be the chief guest at the event. The program will begin at 9:30 AM with floral tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s statue. Following this, at 9:40 AM, an interactive session will be held with senior citizens and former NSUI leaders.

At 10:00 AM, 100 women who have made significant contributions to the field of education will be honored. Later, at 10:15 AM, discussions will take place with PASWA volunteers.

Preparations and Key Directives

During the inspection, special attention was given to the event’s logistics. Keshav Mahato Kamlesh instructed event coordinator Alok Kumar Dubey to ensure all preparations are completed on time for a grand and well-organized function.

Additionally, a tribute will be paid to the late Gopal Jha, a founding member of the park, who passed away 15 days ago.

Alok Kumar Dubey highlighted that this is the first Rajiv Gandhi-themed park in Jharkhand, established with the support of former Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon.

On March 27, Congress in-charge K. Raju is expected to spend an hour at the park, delivering lectures on various topics.
