Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Fear gripped Kadma Farm Area in Jamshedpur again as two bikers snatched a woman’s gold chain in broad daylight on Saturday morning.
The incident took place near Road Number 10 around 8:30 a.m., as the woman was returning from temple after offering prayers with her brother-in-law, Nilesh Rao.

The chain was partially torn during the snatch, with the miscreants fleeing with the stolen portion.

The victim, with help from Rajesh Singh, former Kadma BJP Mandal president, lodged a complaint at Kadma police station.
This comes days after a similar snatching targeted a local sportsperson, heightening residents’ concerns.
Locals are demanding increased police patrolling and tighter security in the area.

A local homemaker said that repeated incidents of chain snatching in the locality is a serious concern.
“The local administration should initiate major steps to check snatching incidents,” she said.
