Jamshedpur, June 23: D. B. M. S. English School hosted a grand felicitation ceremony on Monday in the school auditorium to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of students of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) who appeared in the 2025 Board Examinations.
The event was graced by the presence of members of the School Managing Committee, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Coordinators, who handed over the awards and extended congratulations to the students.
The felicitation began by acknowledging the efforts of the ISC batch, where 78 out of 139 students achieved the distinction of being single-pointers. They were honoured with cash awards, congratulatory cards, and gifts. Notably, 22 students who scored above 95% were awarded silver medallions for their exceptional performance.

Stealing the spotlight was Adarsh Kabra, the topper of the ISC Commerce stream, who secured a stellar 99%, making him the school topper, city topper, and state topper. He received a gold medallion in recognition of his achievement.
Among the ICSE batch, Vansh Jawanpuria emerged as the topper with 99.4%, earning the distinction of being the school topper, second city topper, and second state topper. He was presented with a silver medallion for his brilliant feat.
Out of 207 students who appeared for the ICSE 2025 examinations, an impressive 115 students were single-pointers. Furthermore, 95 students scored 90% and above in the ICSE (English + Best 4 Subjects).

A special scholarship honour was conferred upon 20 ICSE students who have continued in Std. XI at DBMS and had scored 90% and above in every subject. These students were felicitated with silver coins and granted scholarships for the current academic session.
The event concluded on a high note with words of encouragement and appreciation from the school authorities. The Principal and other dignitaries expressed pride in the students’ dedication and hard work, which not only brought glory to the institution but also set a benchmark for academic excellence in the region.
