Dhanbad,| August 2: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, the Indian Railways has once again extended the services of two popular special trains originating from Dhanbad—one to Jammu Tawi and the other to Chandigarh.
Dhanbad–Jammu Tawi Special Extended Till August 12
According to a notification issued by Md Iqbal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr DCM) of the Dhanbad Railway Division, train no. 03309 Dhanbad–Jammu Tawi Special will now operate until August 12. This train will continue to run twice a week—on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
Its return counterpart, train no. 03310 Jammu Tawi–Dhanbad has been extended from August 3 to August 13, and will run on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Dhanbad–Chandigarh Special Extended Till August 15
Similarly, train no. 03311 Dhanbad–Chandigarh Special will now run until August 15, operating on Fridays and Tuesdays.
The return journey, train no. 03312 Chandigarh–Dhanbad Special, has been extended from August 3 to August 17 and will continue to run on Thursdays and Sundays.
These extensions come as a response to continued passenger demand and are aimed at easing travel during the ongoing peak season.
