Jamshedpur, June 25: Former CM, Hemant Soren’s cousin Anup Tuddu died of kidney ailment late on Sunday evening, casting a pall of gloom in the Chandil block of the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Monday.
Anup Tuddu (50) was on dialysis due to an acute kidney problem for the past couple of years and eventually he fell terribly sick at home in Chakulia village in Chandil last evening. The family members rushed him to Mango-based Brahmanand Superspeciality Hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.

‘Antyeshti sanskaar’ (last rites) will be solemnized at the deceased’s ancestral place in the Chakulia village itself. Basant Soren, the elder brother of Hemant Soren, has already reached Chakulia village and Kalpana Soren is also scheduled to arrive there in the afternoon.
Though the doctors who used to attend to the ailment of Anup Tuddu had strongly suggested a kidney transplant, but the latter did not pay heed to the suggestion. Instead, he would remain busy in the agriculture activities like a healthy person.
Significantly, Anup Tuddu’s elder brother Kishore Tuddu died of the same kidney problem three years ago and his eldest brother Kapoor Bagi has started suffering from the same disease presently.
