Jamshedpur, Nov 4: J. H. Tarapore School, Jamshedpur, marked a momentous occasion with the inauguration of its newly built auditorium, ‘Aura Mazda – In the Light of Wisdom’. The event was attended by members of the Managing Committee, dignitaries, and well-wishers.

Chairman Bailey Bodhanwala inaugurated the auditorium on his birthday, lending a special personal significance to the celebration. The programme began with a Jashan performed by Zoroastrian priests, seeking divine blessings for wisdom, learning, and success.

In her welcome address, Principal Lata Sharat highlighted the school’s ongoing commitment to providing students with a stimulating learning environment. She said the new facility would further inspire creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students.

Director Rubina Bodhanwala expressed heartfelt gratitude and recalled how Tina Bodhanwala Sood, their daughter, carried forward her father’s dream of building a modern auditorium even during his period of ill health. She described the project as a labour of love and a tribute to the school’s enduring values of vision, determination, and community spirit.

The new auditorium is equipped with cutting-edge sound and lighting systems, a modern stage setup, and a high-resolution LED screen. Designed to host a range of cultural programmes, seminars, and inter-school events, Aura Mazda is expected to become a vibrant hub of creative and intellectual expression.
